I said this in another thread but the lack of shading/lighting on player skin kills me, especially arms and face. It's so flat, doesn't look like a real broadcast. It looks obviously animated. David Aldridge is the only human that looks good. Arenas lighting isn't good. Players slide around too. Same running animations since 2k11. It kills the suspension of disbelief for me. I really wanna be immersed but i just can't

The animations move beautifully though, as always. And i really like the new blocking physics. And i'm sure the gameplay AI will be top notch like usual. Will it be enough to feel good about spending $80AUS on it though? I'm on the fence

Also is anyone sick of how the camera follows the ball during replays?? Especially when a player dribbles, it looks kinda ridiculous. It's been that way for like 10 years

NBA 2K is definitely in need of a revamped replay system. The way Momentous cuts his trailers is the kind of angles and cinematic we need for replays. We should see a variety of angles showing off the arenas and players in ways we would never see otherwise in dramatic fashion. It goes a long ways towards making the game feel bigger then life and immersive.

Did you play the mycareer part of the Prelude? There's definitely lightning on the arms and face, but you need to play with HDR on to get the most out the lighting.
