Oh no....Worst 2k fear. We get a great game, great defense, etc. People want to patch it..

In Short, don't touch ANYTHING until folks get time to get better at the game. It is as simple as that.

Hate that I got in there late.

And not necessarily patch....some of us are just suggesting tuning on-ball steals. Elite guards in protect ball so the ball doesn't get stolen isn't authentic. I love defense as much as the next guy (probably more) but that skews the game in a bad direction. Trying to AND ONE is one thing...but those guys shouldn't be scared to be in triple threat and dribble in a static position--that's crazy.

That makes me sad, what happened to the days of learning games and getting better at them, living with them for a couple months.

You're fine bro...we can disagree without it being personal/attacking. I'm not really worried as I know the data will back up what i'm saying. In H2H i'm seeing dudes take full advantage of the opportunity to spam. With ANY and EVERYONE in EVERY situation. Just a sample:



Notice the vast majority of those went uncalled/had no downside so it just encourages the spam even more. Risk/Reward gameplay isn't just good...its ESSENTIAL. Here's an animation I loved in 2K17 that gave us consequences when you missed a steal.

Fair enough fam!, What do you suggest, a more strict penalty for reaching?

Its hard to get a good balance, I always feel there is always going to be someone who ends up not happy. I see what your saying, but on the flip side, patching sometimes leads to- On Balls steals being non existent .

just like when they patched in game injuries- for 3 years in a row there became non existent. Really hard to find a good balance
