Thank God!* I needed this.* I am returning to franchise play after almost 8 years so this mode, while awesome, looks so intimidating.* Now I will take my time to learn it.* This is great advice.* Thanks again.
By the way, does anyone know where I can find a good MyGM tutorial or overview?* Thanks.* Sometimes I wonder if I should make one on YouTube. LOL!

I'm deep into a MyGM save and loving it but "The Saga Continues" story mode is like a dull visual novel.

There literally should be a warning before starting the story that there will be at least 2 or 3 hours of reading text before actually getting into things. The writing is average at best which is funny because MyCareer has legitimately great writing, characterization and direction. "The Saga Continues" struggles to be engaging most of the time so you're just sat there reading dialogue while watching looped animations for minutes at a time.

Good article with some great tips but I had to get that off my chest about the story version, it has a nice premise but the execution is very weak.

I would just run a few test my gms before you get started on your main one that's the best way to learn.

I started the myGM saga continues and got to the point of doing team logos and uniforms. Is there any way to download like you can in my league? I already made my uniforms, arena, etc in my league. I uploaded it so I could just use it in myGM but is that not an option? Do I have to do it all again? Thanks!

In my opinion, this is the mode's ONLY big problem.

Designing a jersey from scratch brought everything to a screeching halt.

I don’t mind doing it (although it seems like a tremendous oversight not to include an option to download other previous uploads), but I definitely didn’t want to go through the hassle of doing it all to get to the end and find there is an option to just download it later (like you can do at any time in myLeague).

If it’s not possible at all I will recreate my team from scratch.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that answers my question.

NBA 2K19 MyGM: Tips for Budding General Managers

I have a few questions about myGM-The Saga...

How do we get our myGM to have hair!?

Can we edit our team information or uniforms down the road or is the initial design final?

Can you add an alternate jersey like you can in my league?

Can we import draft classes in the first season?

Can we edit the original settings and sliders throughout the year or are the initial settings final?

Sorry for all the questions but I spent about 2 hours tonight and haven’t gotten anywhere. Depending on some of the answers to the above questions I may not even bother going forward.

Thanks for any answers anybody may be able to share.
