A few teams had their official Media Day on Friday and the rest will be on Monday. Thursday, we get some preseason games underway.

One more month until the season.

Meh,

I will say this though, he actually showed some personality outside of the actual press conference and it seems like he's giving the Raptors an honest chance past this season. That's all we, as fans can hope for. I dunno if you can watch the video in the US but if you go to the TSN.CA site on the sidebar there's an interview between Kawhai and Kate Beirness where he seems a bit looser.

Press conference went better than I thought. Deepest question came from a Spurs reporter, but most others were generic ones. Although some people gotta be original. Sure you don't know the order that people will get to ask questions, but if someones asked a question you have written down and were planning on asking, how about not asking it (again)?

Raptors media people did a good job handling Kawhis answers. They knew his answers weren't gonna be long, and the moment he was done answering, they immediately moved onto the next person to avoid any awkward silence.

And good job by Masai to shut up all the reporters bringing up the "guys don't want to play here" stuff.
