Why are the GK throws so janky when using full-manual passing? Has anyone else noticed this? My GK always does an awkward over-the-shoulder throw - regardless of if I am making a long or short throw. This is only happening when I am on full-manual passing (was not a thing on assisted or semi passing).

Why would EA even bother to code a different (worse) animation for the GK when using full-manual passing? Of all the many (MANY) things that EA could be spending time / effort / space on ... how is this one of those things?

There is nothing that I can do to fix this ... right?

This has been around since the beginning and my understanding is there is nothing that can be done. The over the shoulder (kinda 3/4 starting from low hip to over the top) is how you're supposed to throw the ball long. However on manual they do that even for short throws in the game.
