Franchise Injuries

Can someone explain on this works as I'm in the middle of my frist franchise and plan on carrying over.

In July a player gets injured for 6+ months. Will that player stay injured in the upcoming year or do all Injuries vanish once the season ends?

What's the best course of action for 30 team control. My feeling is at the end of the playoffs remove all players injuries so no one abruptly retires from injury.

Injuries continue as is. If you have a player out for the year, they'll be out for the remainder of your franchise season.

Removing injuries would be one way of doing this. I like to save directly before the retirements are listed so if there's anyone whom I do not want to retire, then I'll reload and try again.
