(I might be extra late with this info, but dah well lol)

Playing MC mode I noticed something...Giannis has 2 different sets of takeover badges...

Playoffs game 2 vs the bucks at my home he had the athletic finisher/lockdown takeover archetypes activated

https://streamable.com/xj45e

Playoffs game 3 vs the bucks away he had the athletic finisher/ playmaker takeover archetypes activated

C'mon man!!!

Re: I see why Giannis is OP(2K thought they were slick lol)

That’s how it is with all players 94+. They get takeover for their two highest archetypes, but with players that are really good all around they’ll sometimes have a different set.

It’s not just Giannis, I’ve had it happen with LeBron too. I’ve had Slasher/Playmaker dual takeover and Slasher/Lockdown dual takeover with him.

With Giannis he usually gets Slasher/Rebounder takeover against me.

Well Giannis is OP in real life so I fail to see the issue.

While it's true that he's really good in real life, in 2k, he highlights a lot of the flaws this game has. When the user makes a mistake, whether it be mistiming a block or a steal attempt, there's already a good chance that they'll be allowed to recover and make the play anyway (see Kushmir's thread below for that). When the opponent has Giannis, that's taken up to 11. You can make any error you want, throw up nearly any bad layup you want, whatever, Giannis will make up for it. And that's an issue, I think. No player, no matter how good, should be able to make up for user error the way Giannis can.

Fair point re: the offense always managing to recover loose balls and block
