To many qb sacks

What slider combination will help reduce sacks on cpu qb? I already have qb acc at 99. I've tried making adjustments to pass block, catching, reaction, and pass coverage. The high NFL average this year I believe is 3.5 per game and I'm going to say teams get 5+ per game

So you are getting too many sacks or the cpu is? Cause as the user I don’t have good luck with getting pressure on the cpu

Are you using custom playbooks for both teams?

Most sacks IMO are caused by the cpu teams calling too many 4 verticle plays and PA shot plays.

If you can , (using the 2 controller and 2 profile method) replace the shot plays and 4 verticle plays with different plays for the particular situations.

Since you are play cpu vs cpu I am not sure how sliders will work.

I think a user named edgevoice has a thread about creating custom playbooks and has instructions on how it is done.

Since I have made the switch to assigning custom playbooks to cpu teams my sack numbers dropped from 5-8 down to 1 or 2 sacks a game.

That makes sense, the playbooks are not customed. I'd hate to have to retire coaches I keep track of there records

You won't lose the coaches' records if you 'retire' them.

The only thing that 'retires' is the character persona that controlled the coach.

If you take over your opponent for a week to assign them custom books, and then subsequently retire the coach, you're essentially retiring the fact that the given CPU team is no longer user controlled.
