First Hockey Game since 05’

Really surprised at how sparse this forum is! I figured there would be a good following in here. I picked up 19’ for 75% and it is my first hockey game since the PS2 days.

I did notice there is no roster sharing... so is everything done through manual data entry and spreadsheets?

Also, for the puck heads in here, with slider/roster love will this edition play a good game of sim hockey?

Re: First Hockey Game since 05’

I've really been enjoying the game. Got it a few weeks ago. Enjoyed the beta tuner, now trying the new tuner with mostly default sliders and I'm having fun. Only prob is getting a lot of slashing and tripping penalties which have mostly been my fault. Really wish this forum was more active. I mostly check Reddit for info but a lot of toxic ea **** talking there, with good constructive conversation mixed in.

I agree on all fronts. One thing I am extremely disappointed in is the body physics. More particularly in passing. Hockey is so beautiful in how players perfectly line up passes with their bodies, but in the game there are some/mostly painfully awkward and unrealistic pass receptions and pass attempts. Just totally kills the immersion.

You guys are definitely new here. There's a reason why these forums are scarce.

Oh, I gotcha. It’s a darn shame. I wonder if 2K or someone else will get back in the ring.

Agreed.
After buying NHL 19 and trying it for a good long while, I ended up just going back to my PS3 copy of NHL Legacy and enjoying that for what it is.

I enjoy the roster updates here from OS and all my custom music and goal horns, etc.

They've lost me with where they've gone on PS4/XB1 gen of games.
