Scrambling QB

Has anyone had any CPU QBs take off running when they drop back? I just played a game against Lamar Jackson and the ravens and Lamar never took off and ran against me. I even start calling man coverage just to see of he would take off and he wouldn't.

I honestly cant remember the last time I had a qb run against me. Anyone else having this problem?

This has been a problem the last few Maddens. I don't know if they attempted to improve over what you're seeing this year.

I thought last year they had finally gotten a good balance with rushing QBs. It's kinda disappointing since without running QBs like Jackson, newton, etc fill really limited

Mobile QBs take off on me all the time. You usually either need to get pressure or have their pass play locked to induce it, but they can be deadly because quite a few guys have decent ball carrier move ratings.

Happens to me at least 2-3 times every game against a QB w/ 80+ SPD, and there's not always much you can co since you can't predict when it's coming.

I have had a few QB's take off and scramble on me but would agree it is not as often as it should. I am in the 3rd season of offline franchise and play the Ravens twice a year in division. I have had Jackson scramble about 4 times total in 6 games played. I have noticed it is always when I am rushing with DE and lose contain on the outside by pushing my rush towards the middle. He gets outside and takes off. I am usually in man and my DB's are down field so he gets big chunks 20+.

In general, I'm seeing almost no opponent scrambling. I played a game against L. Jackson and he only ran once. Russell Wilson takes off all the time against me, though. Maybe due to Seattle being a divisional "rival".

I have them run occasionally in 19.

I thought it had to do with the traits. If you go to the QB traits and turn Lamar into a scrambler and I think you have to turn his sense pressure into Paranoid, he'll run more often. The 2 times I've played him in my Franchise modes he's taken off on me at least 5 or 6 times. Either when I'm playing straight man to man or when I zone blitz on one side and lose contain on the other side.
