The Meaning of Life (or What Do the Fields in the Editor Mean?)

For some time now, I've been trying to put together a master list of the tables and fields accessible with the editor. Some fields affect game play, some simply record stats, and some do nothing at all. Much of what I know has been pieced together from many posts on OS. I started cleaning up my file and decided to share it before I get too far along so anyone else can share or correct things I have. I'm sure I'm not 100% accurate on all of what I have so far.

Here is the file.

Feel free to discuss, ask questions, etc. in this thread. Enjoy!

Re: The Meaning of Life (or What Do the Fields in the Editor Mean?)

Great, great stuff. I need to spend time comparing notes.

Just scrolling through it, and remembering something off the top of my head:
Under Stadiums, the SLAT and SLON is an assigned number for the latitude and longitude of the stadium. I had done an excel scatter chart and discovered Hawai'i way off in the corner and the other stadiums and locations (mostly) taking their place in the U.S. I have no idea how it impacts play; my only thought is that it could have to do with the Weather Channel's Live Feed in "Play Now" mode.

I also have the Team ID numbers for the FCS/I-AA schools that were in the previous generation games. The Team ID numbers from 300-311 and 400-411 are for Practice Mode inside offline dynasty, and TeamBuilder Team ID numbers are 900-911 inside offline dynasty.

Nothing really. Currently they're just empty placeholders in the game.

Plus, it can be used as a historical reference and explanation why Texas State has a smaller ID number (218) than Florida Atlantic (229), even though FAU started FBS play before Texas State. Texas State was one of the FCS teams in the PS2/XBox generation, and EA kept the same ID number when the Bobcats moved up a division and the designers added them to the PS3/XBox 360 game.

Out of curiosity, do you have a list that you can post? BTW, big fan of your spreadsheets. Really great info.

Here's an Excel file with all the schools, Team IDs (TGID), Conferenece IDs (CGID), and Division IDs (DGID).

So question is, can these conferences be enable and show up on the game? I have a buddy who wants to add Div1AA teams... Adding these using team builder teams seem likely?
