I picked this up yesterday as well. I tell ya what, I'll play the hell out of it this year, but if it could somehow get the visuals of say The Show, man!

I'm telling you once you get to play OOTP and find how deep it is you'll be hooked and will never look back! Best Baseball game for 2019!

Price point? $35.99 for pre-order. $39.99 after the pre-order period is over (I think on 3/29).

If I were you I'd read up on it before taking the plunge. There's a learning curve and it's also not the same type of game as most people expect from a console baseball game where it's about stick skillz and graphics. If reading a little bit more and looking at some gameplay doesn't deter you, then maybe it's time to take the plunge...

im thinking of taking the plunge but I am on mac.

Am I going to miss out on a lot of user content like custom/historic stadiums if I go on mac vs pc? Or is it where it doesnt matter where any custom files will be transferable for both mac and pc?

Doesn't matter! You'll be able to install the same mods on Mac as you would on PC! You won't regret the purchase!!
