I have been a MLB The Show buyer for 11 straight years counting the 2019 version. I always thought, and still do, that this is the best sports game out there, but the lack of interest the developers are putting into the franchise mode, has me wondering if we they should be more transparent.
If its a business decision to go into the DD mode, I can understand that, but they should come forward and say so.
If they are not going to develop franchise anymore, they should just take it out of the game, and us buyers/players of this mode, would know what to expect.
What they can not do is keep releasing a broken mode with such fundamental aspects like the rosters, so broken.
Its been a week and I can not start to play franchise because there are serious issues with the roster (Acuña, Gurriel service for example), that prevent franchise player to have the gaming experience that we paid for when we bought the game.
Worst than that, there is no news as to if those issues are going to be addressed, making my $60 useless.

While I agree, Unfortunately they make enough money to not need to make changes. People need to stop buying the game. With all respect it should be widely known that they made little to no franchise changes, due to the stream they had, and the fact they made another mode rather then improve franchise. Trust me they don't care for franchise, nor will they say that. Reason they wouldn't say that, is it would hurt their bottom line
