Classic pitching interface

So I asked this question within a thread and had no response so I figure I’d make my own.

I am brand new to classic. I really like it. I like how I can watch my pitchers wind up more instead of looking at a meter the whole time. I have a few questions tho.

1) with meter, obviously your meter moves faster if your pitcher is in the stretch opposed to being in the windup. Is that the same with classic? Is the sweet spot a shorter amount of time if you’re in the stretch since it’s a quicker motion to the plate?

2) should I hold the button right until i feel that slight vibration in the controller or what?

Any other tips with classic pitching I’d really appreciate. I’ve played one game and really liked it a lot and plan on sticking with it.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Classic pitching interface

With classic, tapping the button has the least energy consumption, velocity and break. The longer you hold the button, the more energy consumption, velocity and break.

But doesn't holding it longer decrease control?

Yeah, that is the trade off for increases in velocity and break.

Re: Classic pitching interface

what about If you hold the button halfway thru his pitching motion and let go? Any difference in the pitch?
