User Bunt Defense
Something I've noticed quite a few times when my team is defending a sacrifice bunt... when the ball is bunted to the right side of the infield, both the second baseman and the first baseman will pursue the ball, forcing the pitcher to have to cover first base on an awkward throw/flip from the first baseman. I've watched a lot of baseball and I'm almost positive that on a bunt to the right side of the infield, the second baseman is supposed to cover first (unless it's bunted right at him).
The results are generally the same as if it was covered normally, the batter is out at first and the runner advances to second. The play just looks really awkward, and on occasion results in a very close play at first due to the high arching lob flip toss to the pitcher who's running to cover the bag.
I've definitely noticed it with my team, but can't remember if the CPU is also covering bunts this way. If they are, it might be part of the reason the CPU is more inclined to throw to second on a sac bunt, regardless of if it's a rocket or not.
Just something I noticed, and was wondering if others had picked up on the same. Not really a complaint since it doesn't really change the outcome of the game. Just doesn't look like normal sac bunt defense, if I'm not mistaken.
