6/10 - 6/23 Game Discussion Thread

10 game homestand for the Braves including the big weekend tilt against the Phillies.

1 game out. Let's take it over for good y'all.

Yesterday the Twins broke the franchise record for HRs before the All-Star break with a month to spare.

They have also had at least 10 hits in HALF their games.

Good to know I've still got it...

Comment I made before recent homestand:

Schwarber hit .238 last year and .211 the year before that. He can't hit lefties, he's a bad defender, he has no speed, and he can only play LF. One of the least versatile players in baseball even if he were hitting .300 with power.

Theo Epstein loves him more than life itself. I just don't get it...enough about his re-made body. Enough about how he hit that homer on top of the signage that one time. The guy isn't worth a roster spot on this team.

I have never seen anything more ridiculous with umpiring than the ejections I just watched on the Braves-Pirates game.

Donaldson got hit on the jersey and whined about it. That whole thing is on him. It didn't even hit his body. Relax.

Whined about it? He didn't say a thing to Musgrove...he may have been annoyed at being hit, but I don't even think he looked out at the pitcher. It was Musgrove that started chirping. Regardless, no one should have been ejected...it was ridiculous.

Cmon man. I’m a big Donaldson fan, he started staring as Musgrove immediately.

For getting hit on the jersey.
