Strikeout cpu on legend

Ok other than countryboy does anyone play legend meter against the cpu and get realistic strikeout numbers? I swear I had a run of games where I was getting good numbers but now the last 10 or so games they hardly swing and miss. Foul %is like 10%. Last game I had they missed 6 pitches out of 150! 6!

It feels impossible to strike them out suddenly and my team ranking is now sinking fast to bottom of the league in k’s. Is this just a stretch? Will they ever swing and miss again lol?

Re: Strikeout cpu on legend

Ok so I use classic not meter but my two cents:
I’ve played my last five or seven games on legend with all cpu hitting sliders on zero (literally all of them: timing, contact, everything) and I’m still only getting 4 or 5 k’s per game.
The funny/sad part is all other offensive numbers for the cpu are pretty great: they’ve tended to get between 7 and 15 hits, have scored 1 run and 9 runs, have had no homers and four homers, etc. Very fun and balanced, just strikeout numbers are low.

Re: Strikeout cpu on legend

Just for reference, in 2018 the average strike out per game from all MLB teams was 8.49 , The team with the highest average was 9.84 (White Sox) and the lowest team average was 7.39 (Indians)

I play all 162 with the Mets on legend pitching with Pure Analog. I'm currently 29th in the MLB in Strikeouts on June 7th

Also use pure analog and pitch on legend and I strike out probably 4-5 batters a game. I'm in last place in the league in K's.

As a hitter, I Myself strike out probably 7-8 times a game.

Using Armor's sliders, I did lower CPU foul frequency slider from 5 to 4. They still foul off a ton of pitches and my K's are low but I do limit solid contact.

Re: Strikeout cpu on legend

I'm on legend pulse. It was pretty much impossible to get more than 3 or 4 strikeouts a game on default. However with my current sliders I feel I'm in a good spot.

Re: Strikeout cpu on legend

I would be interested in your walks issued numbers compared to strikeouts.
Me:
2 walks issued per game
Strikeouts: 7,2 per game

I play with the Giants and meter pitching HOF level

I feel like if I would throw more balls out of the zone the numbers would become better.
