Not sure. I don't have the game, but I saw a video of the CAP editor and there was a slider for short lengths.

if your talking about the 'preferred shorts length' tab.. that's been in the game..doesn't really do much..and its for creating old school players i believe

Yes I am talking about the preferred short length tab. It did not seem to work with created uniforms? When set to short... shorts were still long

I’m pretty sure that tab was for retro uniforms. If you select a retro uniform and a player had that marked short, they will have short shorts. John Stockton is a good example. If he’s on a present day team with today’s uniforms, the shorts will be long. But use one of the retro uniforms and the shorts are short because he has that marked short instead of long
