Please help! NCAA '14 on PS3 freezing

Ok I've tried every roster I found on here for my NCAA 14 game on PS3. No matter what its always freezing in my offline dynasty. The furthest I've made it is to the first game I actually play(simulating works). It gets to the stadium screen(before the coin toss) and doesn't go anywhere from there. The audio is there as the announcers do their thing but it never goes off this screen. I've tried a few things like deleting the game file, etc but it never does anything.
Does anyone have any fresh Ideas or can point me to a roster file that doesn't cause this? The game is essentially brand new with zero scratches, so I'm assuming its the roster files doing this. And I don't really want to play without the names lol.

Any guidance is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I know of two reasons for the pre-game glitch:

1) More than 70 players on one of the rosters. Check that, just to be sure.

2) Are you using custom playbooks?:https://forums.operationsports.com/f...ge-glitch.html

Are you using any custom stadium sounds?

I am not. Only thing that's custom is the roster.

Have you been trying to play the same game, over and over? Have you tried going to schedules and playing a game between other teams? That would let you know if it was a problem with one of the original teams or something else. If you're trying to run a dynasty with your favorite team every time, it could be an error on the roster that is carrying over every time the roster guys update it. So, if we find it, we could get your dynasty going and let them know.

All good questions, but no, its been a different team each time. I'm going to try with a new roster again. I restored the file system and rebuilt database on the PS3

Bump for activity. I’m stuck with same problem. Anyone figure out a fix? I’m tired of ncaa13. If I can’t get it to work I guess I’m gonna get rid of it.

I am having issues too, specifically against Oklahoma, but occasionally other teams as well. One thing I’ve read but haven’t been able to verify is if certain faces are used for characters they won’t load. It’s possible that the special rosters have players with these faces...that’s my current working theory. Every time I go and try to edit the faces tho, my game freezes

Yep, having the same issue.

Season 2 of Luke Fickell career; used to play exclusively with OSU and it would occasionally freeze. Now it’s freezing sooner and sooner into the game.

Custom roster, everything else is normal except sliders.

Rebuilt database and restored files already.

can confirm I can't get thru one game either...

always freezes during the first game before...

used a vikesfan roster I think. and I know I was ****in around with stadium sounds too smhh

Bump for activity. I’m stuck with same problem. Anyone figure out a fix? I’m tired of ncaa13. If I can’t get it to work I guess I’m gonna get rid of it.

Believe it or not, when my game freezes on PS3, right around the time the starts to march before the start of the game. I press the X button 1 time, and the game unfreezes.
