In regards to the upcoming reveal of #NBA players' actual heights and ages, a 2K spokesperson told me this when asked if the potential changes to official league records will cause a change in an upcoming roster update... #NBA2K20

Re: 2K Responds to NBA Player Heights and Upcoming Roster Update

Just to point out, the new measurements that are going to be listed are going to be players' heights WITHOUT shoes on. The first notable measurement changes that have appeared on NBA.com are KD being listed at 6'10 and Kyrie at 6'2. Zion was said to measure out at 6'6 but the website still has him listed at 6'7.

I think that 2K should list them with their barefoot heights, but tweak the models to have it an inch and a half taller than the listed heights. So with KD, they'll have him as 6'10 listed in the roster, but in gameplay he'll actually be proportionally at 6'11.5 or 7'.

They have KD at 6'10" seems odd to round 6'10.75" down to 6'10"

Re: 2K Responds to NBA Player Heights and Upcoming Roster Update

It's wild to me that people think 75% of players losing one inch in height is going to blow the doors off the gameplay.

That's how I feel. To me, it's REALLY not a big deal when you take in consideration that most of the players will be impacted.
