Re: Is there a way to create a new owner in franchise mode?
Yes there is. There was a thread in 2015 telling u how. I've only done it online on the cloud franchise, but it works. You select create a new character and go to any team but yours. Now u have to exit the game and create a brand new playstation network profile, a new user. Once u do that, open madden on your newly created profile so it can do all of its first time load up stuff, fill out the info. Then back out and go to your original profile, load up franchise, and on the members tab in your franchise youll see the invite users button. Invite your new profile. Then switch back on to your newly created account and in the main madden screen, shift over to franchise and you will see a pending invite, the one u just sent. Click it. Youll now be brought up to choose your team. Choose your team your trying to fix, select owner, and continue. Now u should be in franchise mode as the owner. Shift over to options, user management, and just retire for good on this account. Now, once retired, log back in to your main playstation account, load franchise, and go to user management. Click the create a new character button under the user management/retire tab, and BOOM! Choose your original team and select the owner role, and your golden. Its a pain in the dick but it works so oh well.
