Best Center build in Rec/Pro Am?

Due to moving and getting a new job I been MIA in the community and game itself.

I have 2 builds, a 7'3 glass/lock where I have decent shooting and no inside offense...and a 7' glass/lock, no shooting but good inside finishing.

I want to make a post like I always play but couldnt find one i liked in the beginning...

Is it a viable build in a competitive setting or am I wasting time and money to invest into one?

Great job clogging the paint so your team is forced to purely shoot.

It depends if you have a squad or not. If not a new postscoring build is a complete waste of time/money because there is no postgame in rec. If you have a squad thats willing to set you up Id say go for it but im not sure if it will be fun in any competitive setting because youll be facing 99 glass locks with maxed defences all the time.

For rec or randoms in general Id say any shooting build with red/green or red/yellow is fine, but Id go 7'0 or even 6'11. Youll expose so many of those paint camping glass lock bums its not even funny...

REC?

A big quick enough to get back on D in transition to stop the cheese, but has ability to finish putbacks.

So id say Paint Beast. You can stack badges for hooks and putbacks, while having 2nd highest def badges.

Add the fact that REC is a game without good communication, and you should stick with your shooting glock.

to be fair...
when I play with dudes who I have no rapport with, its so hard to run a simple 2 man PnR that i say being willing to be the bitch and anchor the defense against easy transition buckets will win you rec games w/randoms

good luck
