The Black Friday sale on PSN has this game for 30 bucks, is the game worth it now for solely offline play? I heard it had a pretty rocky start but it has had a few patches now. I don't really care much about a shallow career mode or anything, as I usually just play various tournament matchups when I play FIFA, so single player gameplay is really the only thing that matters to me.

I just posted something in the impressions thread. Long story short, yeah, it's alright at half-price or slightly less. I haven't put in a lot of time yet but I've enjoyed the 3-ish hours I've spent so far.

I think the patches have helped a lot, going to try some slider sets later to fine tune a few things. I'm not as frustrated as a lot of people were so, idk, maybe the patches, maybe lower expectations...

Oh yeah and I too basically use solo kick-off/play now, tournament and I dabble in FUT a little (though I refuse to spend any real currency there, so my "ultimate" team sucks).

Yes it is. As long as you aren't going to sit there for like 8 hours straight playing it. You will probably get pissed.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I just realized the CONMEBOL Libertadores is getting patched into the game in March, so I'll probably pick it up then as it will likely go through another, even cheaper sale like when they patched the world cup into FIFA 18.

Its a downgrade from 19. So even with money taken out of the equation, I'd say no.

Glad I stuck with 19 and matts setup. 20 offline seems like a mess.
