7'1 Center. Blue Green pie chart. 74 mid-range 70 shot 3.

Got all 17 of my shooting badges. Quick Draw on HOF and I can't shoot for the life of me. I could be wide open and still brick. 90% of the time it's a slightly early release.

My Jumpshot isn't bad. Whenever I'm in My Court or Pro Am arena shooting around, I get a lot of green releases

This is by far the worst shooting I've ever done in my 2k career

1st: Your jumper probably isn't as good as you think.

2nd: If always slightly early, hold it a bit longer. If you then fall into the slightly late category, lower it to gold and you should be good.

3rd: With that rating, perhaps it's you shot selection.

4th. Up your catch and shoot badge. That is, if you're more of a spot up shooter.

4.1th: Difficult Shots if you move with the ball.

74 mid and 70 3pt is pretty Bad. dont Know about mycareer Stuff, but in normal 2k play, an 80 3pt rating is around the average.

Not true at all, dudes can consistently green with a 56 3 online and in career.

**** most of my players got a 70-75 3 and they shoot like sharps due to badges + knowing my shot.

I like silver quick draw. A lot of my friends like Gold. Base 98 is the best jumper in the game.

Catch and shoot bronze, corner specialist silver' and range extender on at least Silver helps.

I have a 70 jumper on my guard. I can green sometimes but make it a good amount. I have silver extender and Bronze catch and shoot with silver quick draw.

My 6'7 slasher has a 64 three right now and i can green with silver quick drawand silver extender.

Yeah, those badge points would be better used elsewhere. Maybe Flexible Release or Green Machine...

Gold Quick Draw takes forever though smh. Seems like I'm holding down the button forever. Silver quick draw probably takes decades . Oh and my shot selection is great.

Obviously it's your choice (and depends on what you're used to), but I use sliver silver quick draw and either Trey Burke or Rudy Gay.

Badges get changed depending on who I'm playing with and my current hot zones, but catch and shoot, extender, and green machine always on to a degree.

Keep at it and hopefully you'll find a mix that works.

Make sure you're shooting from passes from a player with Dimer. Floor general also helps.

Catch and shoot is not great with low 3 point rating. It's like a 5% make increase at HOF badge level with a 70 3 ball according to 2klab. Corner specialist also should not be above silver.

Hot zone hunter is the best shooting badge in the game (after Quickdraw). It should be the highest level that your build can get it at. The difference between no badge to HOF badge with HZH is basically a straight up 20% make percentage to spots that you have hot zones in.

Also consider Green machine. Range extender is not that important for a corner shooter.

Hot zones are super important for makes at a low rating. Have to really take a good shot selection until you get hot zones otherwise if you get the zone to cold, it's going to be tough to pull yourself back out of that hole. 2Klabs says the difference between cold/neutral/hot at 70 rating is 28%/37%/46% makes. That's huge. But if you have the spot Hot and then add on HOF Hot zone hunter, plus Dimer passes (which also provides a bigger boost to a low rated shooter than a high rated shooter), you suddenly turn into a consistent shooter.

If you're used to HOF quick draw, that's fine. But it's better to have more silver badges than a select few HOF badges. Like everyone says, a 70 won't be the most reliable jumper no matter what badges you have. You can try boosting, as it will take your rating and +5. I have a few guys who run big with a high 60 and low 70 ratings and they green quite a bit. If you're running online a lot, you should be consistently getting open looks at either big spot, especially the 5 since most bigs won't come out of the paint.

like i said, i dont Know how it is in those mycareer Stuff Modes. In Standard Basketball 5on5 gameplay and keeping in mind the roster Design from 2k, 70 3pt is pretty below average. players with a 70 3pt rating are meant to Shoot around 30%.

This is my first 2K since 2016 and damn have I struggled with shooting, too. Much better than I was at the start, but the release mechanisms are so different than what I'm used to.

Playing strictly offline with the 98 Bulls and can't hit any clean shots with the squad, let alone with MJ. No problems scoring, but it's always off back or side rim, then in. Never any swishes, like EVER. Not a deal breaker, but it'd be nice to hit some crisp shots with the GOAT once in a while!

Your 3 ball is definitely high enough to green consistently. Gauging how good your shooting is in MyCourt and Pro AM-Arena are a hard NO. It's too easy to shoot in both.

HOF Green Machine and HOF Hot Zone Hunter (If you have your hot spots) are a great combo. I have a 2-Way Slashing Playmaker that hits consistently and my 3 ball is only at a 68 right now.

Base 85 has a nice green window. Curry is pretty solid also. Super easy to time and since you have HOF shooting badges the speed will be quick.
