Just Noticed these two new features coming with MLB The Show 2020:

Custom Leagues & Franchise Relocaton.

What do you think these will include?

I hope they are Offline functions and not only for Online Players. Depending on their depth this really could be a BIG DEAL for MLB The Show 20 ! Might finally get the Astros back to the National League and the return of the Expos to Montreal !!!

Whatever it is, it's a step in the right direction. I hope this functionality can be workable in a pre-existing franchise so you don't have to restart.

And better still would be the ability to edit the teams outside of franchise and tie those changes to a roster file, but I suspect they won't go that far...

I'm so hoping that this feature will be similar to the nba 2k rebrand. That would further enhance all the great classic rosters.
And if they could then get rid of retired numbers...

Very excited for these additions to Franchise Mode as well!. As for the custom leagues, it all comes down to how much freedom we get with "franchise relocation". If SDS gives us limited expansion options, like pre-chosen uniforms and team names, or auto-generated ballparks, then I think you'll see a pretty basic and more online-geared "Custom League" game mode.

However if The Show can translate all the team customization from Diamond Dynasty into another game mode for MLB 20 (which is what we're all hoping), then I can't see why we wouldn't see them in Custom Leagues.
