The McMafia: A Buffalo Bills Franchise (Madden 20)

The McMafia
A Buffalo Bills Franchise

Sean McDermott and the Buffalo Bills, let's go.

I really like where the Bills are at on multiple levels, not to mention a prime opportunity to take over the AFC East. Okay, while the latter may not happen if Brady, Belichick, and the Patriots figure things out (as they always do), there's no denying that Buffalo is the team in the East to give them a battle twice a year.

We've got a whole bunch of cap space, a whole bunch of draft picks, and a whole bunch of...talent already on the roster! Seriously though, when you dissect the Bills roster, things look pretty dang good.

The bread and butter is obviously on the defensive side of the ball. Tre'Davious White is primed to become the next best ball-hawking CB and already proved his long-term worth with a ridiculous 2019. Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer aren't the flashiest names in the safety realm, but I'd take them all day long. Combine the aforementioned three with an absolutely loaded defensive line in Ed Oliver, Jerry Hughes, Shaq Lawson, Trent Murphy, Jordan Phillips, Star Lotulelei, and you're set. Obviously, Lawson & a few other guys are Free Agents, but we'll get to that in a bit.

Offensively, things could be better. Josh Allen was the ultimate definition of "trying to do too much" in the Bills' Wild Card loss to Houston. There's really no questioning that Allen's decision making needs work, but thankfully we can upgrade his weaponry beyond the likes of Cole Beasley and John Brown to counter this issue. The case of keeping Devin Singletary as our lead back (assuming Frank Gore moves on) will honestly come down to what is acquired in Free Agency & the NFL Draft. Our offensive line is pretty young and it's refreshing to not have a major need in that department.

In terms of house rules, sliders, rosters, and starting point, I'll be doing the following:

- 8 Minute Quarters, No Runoff
- FalconATL's All-Madden Sliders
- FalconATL's Draft Classes
- 2019 Offseason Starting Point

Just started a Bills franchise for all of the same reasons you just listed. The only question mark for me moving forward is the improvement of Josh Allen. He can be wildly inaccurate at times and with the lack of protection from the OL it can make for the pretty rough games as I've found out already. Good luck man. Looking forward to following your progress.

Thanks man, looking forward to hearing how it goes for you too. Such an intriguing team, definitely excited. Hopefully Allen’s legs can bail us out too, we’ll see!
