My "Challenging" slider set

I revamped my sliders and borrowed Eccentri's Player Movement formula, via Gtl40. If you actually try these, let me know what you think.

* I designed these for 12 minute quarters.
* Percentages, for me personally, range between 38-43% on average.
* I wanted to mitigate the 'Badge Influence' as much as possible.
* Bench Depth is crucial.
* This does not replicate modern NBA; scores can end 81-76 with horrendous percentages.
* The goal here is CHALLENGE as I've always felt that realism is an illusion.

Not to be “that guy” but I’m 99% sure he got the movement sliders from me. At least I assume so, as I’ve only posted movement tweaks so far and he credited me in his thread.

Sorry. Been watching The Last Dance and I feel like MJ’s petty competitiveness is rubbing off on me

Re: My "Challenging" slider set

Updated the "Defense" sliders in accordance to Eccentric's find.

Working on MyLeague sliders now that will focus heavily on Player Development through the Trainings/Practices. On the default level, I feel like they are not really relevant, so the goal here is to have the players progress based on their training. Players will still progress naturally with game exposure of course, but player training (hitting the gym) will be monumental.

Re: My "Challenging" slider set

These seem very comparable to my slider set...the main difference is that you make it more difficult for the CPU to consistently make plays.

I like these a lot and I'm curious to see what your thoughts on mine as it pertains to comparing the two?

We could possibly work together for 2K21?

I like a slowed down 1990-esque style of gameplay where they feed the post more than shoot. I'm personally not a fan of the fast paced game, so I raise the Fatigue Rate slider so that it is coherent with the tempo.

CPU 3PT and Midrange raised to 55 so it balances out the percentages of the game.

I will have to try yours, I see a lot more edits than mine.

Of course we can work together!

I use the Nets exclusively.

I am working on Simulation Tuning sliders to match this so each box score is consistent

Re: My "Challenging" slider set

These are not pick up and play; the CPU will destroy you.

These sliders are designed to make Shot Timing and Defense meaningful.

With Eccentric's player movement sliders, the CPU Defense will constantly be at your throat. I've had to resort to a lot of difficult shots off the dribble.

Go into scrimmage mode, run plays, and set up your playbook.

If you're a turbo junky, increase User Fatigue Rate above 57 and force yourself to play at a slower tempo.

MyLeague Sliders TBD.
