Franchise trade logic

I'm in my second season in franchise...i have 54 players on my roster, and I'm trying to make a trade to get a draft pick to get down to 53, but the cpu wont allow the trade saying i will be under the roster limit...anybody else dealt with this?

Do you have anybody on IR? Players on IR do not count towards your roster total.

Just turn the roster minimum off. It's useless.

I'm wondering if you are trying to trade, say, the only RLB that you have. It is not the overall roster limit, but there is a minimum for each position. If you are trying to trade a position where you would be below the minimum.

That's all I can think of.
