Question About Power Numbers in DD and Hitter Analysis Numbers in MLBtS19

I picked up MLBtS19 after a long break, quickly became frustrated with all of the line outs and not hitting a single home run over 7 games, so I'm starting to look at my players' hitting analysis.

Does anyone know if the scale is 1-15 on the "Label Hitchance" in the Analysis screen?

Also, I vaguely remember reading complaints about the lack of home runs and disappointing results with "Good/Good" swings. I guess those had merit? And they never tweaked the sliders for online play?

It's 0-15 (and the zero on the scale matters because it guarantees no contact, even if your timing is perfect).

The thing I think people miss about the hitchance label is that it's only based on PCI placement and not timing. In other words, you can have a 15 hitchance but swing and miss because your timing was way off. Timing also affects which direction you're going to hit the ball, so even if you have a 15 but you square it perfectly and hit it on a line straight out to center, there's a pretty good chance it's going to be caught by the CF. Whereas if you are slightly early or late on that same pitch, it's probably into either gap for a double.
