Just upgraded to PS4: Any new golf games on the horizon?

So i just got a PS4 yesterday, and it appears that The Golf Club 19 is a solid golf choice. But are there any new golf games on the horizon?

The Golf Club 2019 is the best choice you have right now, especially if you can pick it up on sale for 15 to 20 dollars. If you're more into arcade style golf, in which case Everybody's Golf is a decent choice, and I think it can be had for like $20 now.

There are no golf games on the horizon that I'm aware of, and I follow this market pretty close. There were murmurings that a new TGC might be secretly in development for a possible July/August release, but I think the chances of that happening are very slim now, especially in view of the COVID-19 situation.

Yeah, wish we had better news for you but it's been pretty crap on the golf game front for almost a decade now....

Well, I picked up Golf Club 2019 for like $15 on Amazon. Just started dabbling with it yesterday. Still have my PS3 and Tiger Woods 14, just in case. I was kind of hoping that they’d announce that the PS5 would be backwards compatible to PS3, but. it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen.

I do actually.
TW14 was a pretty decent game but to me TGC2019 is the best golf game I've played to be honest. Sure it has its issue's but if you would have told me there would ever have been a golf game that would offer access to nearly every popular golf course known to man I would have wanted whatever you were smoking..lol...yet this game does it in spades and for me that deserves...

Which pretty much settles it that TGC is the only game in the future of golf gaming. No point for any other company to compete with all those golf courses and buy expensive rl courses and equipment licenses like EA did. EA was very smart to get the hell out of the golf business and give the space to HB which is doing a fabulous job with the golf gaming community.
