Planning on doing a 30 team fictional franchise. This is one of the first teams I made. The logo creator seemed unintuitive at the start but I eventually got the hang of it.

Very cool, the editor does take some practice for sure. I’ve complete 7 teams so far. Will start a franchise when completed all 30 with a fictional roster.

The Miami Eighty-Eights

This is a design and idea I came up with for my Diamond Dynasty team, but I'm also doing a rebrand of the Miami Marlins with it in Franchise mode. I moved the team back to Job Robbie/Sun Life Stadium and rebranded them the 'Eighty-Eights'.

The team name and color pallet is pretty much a homage to the 1980s/Miami Vice. I toyed with the idea of other names based on years, like the '85s' and '86ers' but I, ultimately, settled on and spelling out the 'Eighty-Eights', partly because its unique, it looks good on the main logo and its a nod to a favorite 80s movie of mine, Back to the Future.

I love the stripe you got along the shoulders and down the sleeves. I was trying to make that work on my uniforms but I just couldn't get it to look right.

You'll get the hang of the logo creator the more you practice with it. Its just constant tweaking and nudging, until you get everything to line up right. I spent two days alone on my primary logo and even then, there are still letters that don't completely line up right. But thanks to self-quarantining...it gave me the excuse to work two friggin' days on a single logo.. haha

Question, if you rebrand a team in franchise, do all of their old uniforms stay as alternates, or does it completely erase that?

It completely scraps the alternate jerseys .

You don’t get a choice for uniforms either. Home uniforms for all home games, aways for all road games.
