MLB 20 New York Yankees Equipment Edits

Another year, another game. I'll be tracking equipment for players throughout the season - assuming there actually is a season. The edits I've done already are obviously going to be based off very early Spring Training 2020 games and games from late last season. Was hoping we would get more new equipment this year like Nike catcher's gear and New Balance elbow/shin guards, but meh. Very glad we finally have Jordan Brand in this year.

Awesome stuff man! This helped me out big time with some of the finer details like gloves and stuff! I just wish they could get the colors right on the game. Some equipment is midnight blue(TC1) but a lot of it is a lighter shade of navy blue, like Torres’ wristband and the sleeve he usually wears (sometimes he has TC1) and that Sánchez and Wade always wear. The past years games were okay, as TC1 was pretty spot on and navy blue looked navy blue. When I edited players the colors were perfect, but then in the gameplay both were WAY too dark. TC1 looked completely black and navy blue looked more like TC1 and you had to REALLY try to see the the blue, but at a quick glance it looked black as well. This year is even worse! For whatever reason, they decided to make navy blue look royal blue instead of navy! It looks horrible and doesn’t fit with the uniform at all. Also, when you get in gameplay it once again looks even worse, more like a purplish look. It’s not THAT far off of the navy that is used for some sleeves, Torres’ wristband and pretty much all the protective gear, but the line is so fine between the actual blue they use and a too light blue, that they small difference makes a HUGE difference (if that makes sense. TC1 is still the same, but is WAY too dark to even begin to pass for the navy blue stuff. So I find myself constantly switching between using navy blue (which looks terrible, but slightly more realistic when used in contrast with the TC1 used by other players) and TC1 (which looks okay but not realistic at all , especially when EVERY single player is using this same color). Anyways that’s my rant. Had to get that off my chest. Thanks a lot for the info though!! Great stuff!

I agree. I used to use navy blue more than TC1 since it looked better but this year they changed the tint of a lot of colors in the game. I don't understand why they always make the Yankees' shade of blue so dark every year.
