how do i get the catcher to give me the location of where he wants the pitch on every pitch. the catcher only gives me location on certain pitches and in certain counts.

I generally take this to mean he wants it for a strike, doesn’t care where.

if you want the API to show up. before you select your pitch hold L2 and press R2(unless its just r2) to get him to show u where he wants it.
