Worst part is he's right. The gameplay in MVP '05 is just as good as today's Show and while the graphics don't compare, at least it wasn't bogged down with patches that literally change the damn gameplay every few days. Patches have destroyed gaming today.

Competition breeds innovation. There are a million things they could focus on to make the game better, but none of those things brings in additional revenue.

Best part of this game was being able to have fantasy drafts and use customer rosters online for leagues. Man, those were the days.

I loved that game. Probably my favorite baseball game. I still cant believe we dont have double headers with the Show.

There are franchise mode features I’d like to see in The Show - not least some that were also in the PS2 version of The Show too - but apart from that The Show is a significantly better game in my humble opinion.

That was pretty spot on. I can remember being able to argue a call at first base and actually choosing to be calm or flat out Lou Piniella on the umpire. It's the last game I was heavily involved in the franchise mode.
