Does this mean Bohm disappears as a reward after April 30th? No way I am winning 50 - 6 inning games in 9 days, so that would stink.

From the FAQ inside the game:

Q: I did not get the chance to play during The Future is Bright 1 Event, can I still earn the same rewards during The Future is Bright 2?

A: Yes, if you missed out on part 1 of a Themed Event, you can start to play and earn the same rewards during part 2 of the Themed Events.

Part 2 runs through May 7th, so it sounds like you can still get Bohm until then.

Prospects card are nice but SCEA ss going way to overboard with them. Feels to much like 2k and EAish.

Yeah, I actually like DD because it wasn't the complete and utter imaginary world that EA and 2K have. I guess I'm in the minority of people who would like an ultimate team mode be somewhat realistic. But what do I know.

Wonder how EA cards are less realistic than these cards? And at least in madden u can acquire solid players over 84 without spending every dollar u have.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but are you saying you have to pay real money in The Show to get good cards? That can't be further from the truth. Just in the XP stream alone, you get something like 10 or 11 99 players. That's not even counting the bosses every inning, the player programs, or the packs with guaranteed diamonds they give you in the innings programs and hidden in the conquest maps.

Re: MLB The Show 20: The Future Is Bright Event Overview and Tips

Yeah one of the things they absolutely nail is providing very good cards just for playing the game. In fact they almost go too far with cards like Kershaw and Kluber being available so early and easily but I'd much prefer that strategy than not having them for free.

I value my time more than my money with gaming. I criticise the **** out of them and rightfully so usually. But the Reward Path is great and I'm glad they do it.
