Interesting notes from tonight

About this week's RAW, I guess it was okay for what it was. Still wished there was crowds though. That Gauntlet match was very long but I guess it accomplished its mission by making Lashley look like a legit threat until he got DQ'd. Nice to see AJ Styles is back after that Boneyard match. Him winning the final Gauntlet match was fitting. I have no clue who that tag team was that beat Ricochet and Cedric. The Viking Raiders beating the Street Profits obviously is setting up a Title match. I appreciate the WWE for trying to get their tag team division going though.

Charlotte/Liv Morgan had a lengthy match and although Morgan lost, I think this could mean she really is on the rise in the division. It needs a fresh face badly so I'm fine with her losing. Lastly, I had no problem with McIntrye/Murphy as the main event. The stuff with Rollins afterwards was nice too. I like having a World Champion on TV.

WWE announces that Becky Lynch will make a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT tonight on RAW. It was already announced that Becky would confront Asuka after she won MITB last night.

The only other thing announced is Edge is on the hunt for Orton... for some reason? Edge beat Orton so why is this happening?

That was done better than the report said it was done. The report said Becky just handed the title over, but instead Becky announced that she asked WWE to make the winner of Women's MITB the new RAW Women's Champion.

I do wonder that because the MITB matches were taped, it wasn't possible for them to make a change late and put the RAW Women's Championship in place of the Briefcase.

Asuka has officially won all the Women's Championships and accomplished major wins in her career.

NXT Women's Champion
SD Women's Champion
Women's Tag Team Champion
Women's Royal Rumble Winner
Women's Money In The Bank

And officially RAW Women's Champion.
