There are MLB rosters that have been made for 2019 and 2020. I also think someone figured out how to put in your own walk up music.

Modding this game isn't really a thing on PC in the way you see other games modded.

However, PC is the version to get for several reasons:

Team/Roster Sharing via Modding Tool (Team Transfer Tool)
Maxed fidelity
Custom audio if desired (you can edit walkups, sound effects, etc)

Honestly, if you have a PC that can max the game, I would never buy a game that can be played cross platform on anything but the PC.
