Orlando Sharks Franchise Relocation (Madden 2005)

This franchise will be ran on Madden 2005. I will be using the default rosters from 2004 and taking over the Buffalo Bills. I will relocate them to Orlando after first season and then officially become the Orlando Sharks in Year 3.

The plan is to have a storyline pertaining to the Buffalo Bills that forces the team to release all veterans(3 year plus) and bring in free agent replacements to replace them. Draft picks will be gone for first season also to add to the difficulty/story. The players brought in through free agency in first season will only be allowed one year deals.

I plan on doing a training camp review each year followed by weekly game reports for preseason and then a preseason wrap-up discussing the preseason progression, injuries, captains and depth chart to start the year. During the season I will do game recaps each week followed by in depth stats/standings/progression/news from around the league on weeks 5,11 and 17. Postseason, Super Bowl and Pro Bowl will be game recaps and the offseason will be divided into overviews of each part from free agency to the draft.

House Rules:

1. Must bring players interest bar to the green in order to sign a player.

2. Only one Free Agent 80+ overall during the Free Agency signing period.

3. No bad trades all trades must at least favor the CPU slightly.

4. Only allowed to do Training Camp drills with rookies.

BREAKING NEWS!

Reports out of Orchard Park, New York are coming in that the Buffalo Bills have been sold by owner Ralph Wilson to Walt Disney World Resorts. Reports are that Disney World offered Mr. Wilson a sum of money he couldn't refuse. Disney expressed that they have already made plans to move the team south to Orlando, Florida.



The commissioner of the NFL has handed down penalties to the organization since the sale wasn't approved by a majority of owners. Instead of refusing the sale the NFL Owners voted unanimously to allow the sale to proceed but the team must give up ALL 2005 Draft Picks. This will surely hurt the near future of the organization as it transitions into this move.



The NFL has also allowed all veterans on the team to be released from their contracts as most didn't want to play for the organization anymore. Notable names to be released are Drew Bledsoe, Travis Henry, Takeo Spikes and Lawyer Milloy. We tried to speak to a few players but most agents advised their clients not to speak to the media. One player did however issue this statement.

"We come to an organization and give our blood, sweat and tears for that logo on the helmet. Then, in an instant the owner is allowed to pull the rug from under the whole thing and expect everything to still be standing. It doesn't work that way. Things fall over.
