Coach vs Owner

This is a two part question:

Which do most people prefer to play? I like the overall conecpt of the Owner mode, as I'm able to make changes to location or my stadium, but that's really all I do different from playing as a Coach.

Playing on either setting, when do you guys leave a team/get rid of your head coach? What are your house rules?

I play as coach. The stadium stuff doesn't interest me. Honestly I wish they had a GM role so you could hire/fire coaching, training, and scouting staff. You would have to deal with players holding out or wanting to be traded, sign and trade, etc.

Coach is better because of the 5th year options.
But you have to do owner mode if you want the potential to relocate...

So in this madden I have enjoyed coach mode more. ONLY because of the scenarios. So during the year you get challenges for the players that can get them XP or help players get a higher developmental rating which is nice. That is about the only difference to me really. But it is a big one.

That being said the scenarios feature is not that robust as I would like it to be. It is generally the same scenarios but they are better than just being the owner and just winning games is the only motivation.

Owner mode because of the finances and to avoid the"scenarios" because the CPU doesn't receive them on their end.

To me coach mode is unbalanced

So our league has only played coach mode. In owner mode how do the players develop? Do they only get rating increases at seasons end?
