My whole Next Gen confusion

Help me out here please.

So I have a PS4..I have 3 games I use on them 2k 20 -Madden 20 -UFC..

I have them downloaded, I don’t have hard copy (disc)..

How will this work with the PS5...how will I be able to play these games if there on hard drive of PS4...sorry but I’m unclear as to the “backwards capabilities “ thing here...

The way I understand it is using the same account you’ll be able to redownload them on the PS5 through the PS store.

The games are in your digital library. If the games are backwards compatible, they'll just appear in your library on the next-gen console, then you'll be able to merely download them again.

Nothing to worry being confused about if you’re not getting 2k next gen. Just keep playing 2k on your PS4

No...it's something that needs to be clarified if he's planning to trade-in his PS4 towards the purchase of the PS5. It's safe to presume he planning to get the PS5, hence his question.
