Who knows if the real 2020 NFL season will go on. Maybe this will be a season with empty stadiums. There is no doubt that you will have the 2020 update to play Madden in PSVita/PSTV!

This year reeshmd23 is totally involved in this update too. He is working with roster and franchise files but also with the graphical patch. Many thanks!!

Our graphical patch includes all new uniforms as well as all color rush missing in previous years. Thanks to reeshmd23 we also incorporated some stadium editing for Rams, Falcons, Vikings, Dolphins and I have a small surprise for the Raiders.

We hope to have resolved the crashing issues present in previous years of this graphical patch.

Thank you guys for keeping our Vita version with updated rosters. I just got and tried this franchise and roster update yesterday. I noticed that Dalton was playing for the Cowboys in the roster update, but not in the franchise.

is it possible to have the 4 files available for download?

I have downloaded the files (I own the vita'13 cartridge) each year but it's the windows compiling doesn't work, so when I put it back on vita, the graphical update doesn't work.

Each year I have to be happy with just the roster update and LiveArea patch.

Look at the included readme to know how to apply it if you have no idea. It requires a hacked device with the rePatch plugin enabled. This plugin is also needed to take advantage of the graphical patch.

Offzip tool helps you repack our patch files in to .ast files. Remember that this patch ONLY WORKS ON HACKED DEVICES via rePatch plugin, have a look at this post. The good part is that all PS Vita/PSTV firmwares up to this day are hackable!

What is exactly the problem you have?

There are two main issues with .ast files:

1. Those four .ast files need around 1GB of room somewhere to keep it available while a zip file with the patch files only around 65MB. Big difference when the idea is to share this patch at least for a whole year.
2. Patch files only contain new files, reeshmd23 and me made them. On the other hand, .ast files also contain stock files besides our patch.

The plan is to release the graphical patch this coming weekend or early next week. It is 99% done, we -reeshmd23 and me- are very happy with it and want to share it with all of you soon.

2020 Graphical Patch Release. Sample pictures at the first 2 posts of the thread.

Important note: As mentioned before, this patch works only on hacked devices and probably on devices running OfficialFirmWares up to 3.60. The good part is that all firmwares up to this day -most recent is 3.73- are hackable.

After a lot of work in the previous months we -reeshmd23 and me- are very happy to finally release this patch for Madden NFL 13 PS Vita/PSTV for the coming -hopefully- 2020 NFL season.

This time we have updates for a few stadiums too and we have included all uniforms for the teams. Raiders will play home games in a dome only in Franchise. In PlayNow Raiders will play at the Oakland Coliseum with updated end zones.

Let's start with the patching guide!

First, remember that it is mandatory to have all game files decrypted. At least you need the following game files decrypted: qkl_boot.ast, qkl_fe2ig.ast, qkl_patch.ast and qkl_ram.ast.

Second, download our 2020 Graphical patch and please follow its readme. Remember to backup your original files -as always- to be on the safe side.

For those of you in HENkaku:
If you have not done it before, install this plugin in your PSVita/PSTV (a reboot is mandatory), look at its readme for more details. In a few words, install the plugin, create a folder in ux0 (in your PSVita/PSTV), name it rePatch (ux0:rePatch), then create another folder inside it and name it PCSE00084 (ux0:rePatch/PCSE00084). Just put your repacked files there. That is all! Do not touch the files neither in ux0:app/PCSE00084 nor in ux0: patch/PCSE00084, especially if your device is above FW3.60 and you have installed the original version (untouched) of the game.

In case you have installed a decrypted version of the game you can just replace all these files qkl_boot.ast, qkl_fe2ig.ast, qkl_patch.ast and qkl_ram.ast with your just repacked files. Up to OFW3.60 you can put all the repacked files in ux0: patch/PCSE00084.

Notes:
Time to time, less frequently than previous years we hope, this graphical patch presents random crashes, in particular, at the uniform selection screen.

It is a good practice (not mandatory) to reboot your device before launching the game after applying the graphical patch.

If you have issues, try to repack the files again, in particular qkl_fe2ig.ast as it seems to be the source of those random crashes. Always work with fresh (original) files. This is one of the relevant points of backing up your original ast files.
