Strike Frequency SLider personal testing

From just some testing and tracking of pitcher strike % while trying to maintain consistent plate discipline game to game, the slider may in fact work better set to 4 rather than 5. This is in combination with CPU pitcher control set to 6 as well.

Leaving it on 5 I was consistently having opposing starters throw a 58-60% strike ratio, setting to 4 has increased that to 64-66%. This is over the course of numerous games with only touching that slider. I am wondering if this slider is perhaps broke or works backwards.

Here's the question....

Are you seeing a higher percentage because you're fouling-off/swinging-missing at more pitches?

What kind of sample size do you have for each?

about 15 games each slider tweak. walks went up as well with 5 as opposed to 4. As well as pitch account as you can imagine. I have been tweaking and adjusting sliders in this game for many years. This year however something is off with the strike frequency on default.

Agreed... I have my sliders at a 6/4/2 ratio. I know 2 seems low but in my testing I see a better ability for them to paint the corners. The CPU above “2” here thinks that the strike zone is a hard white square. It plays backwards kind of... forcing the CPU to throw more “balls” in fact has them throw more boarderline pitches. Try these sliders and LMK
