RealFG% not working as intended

I just tried out RealFG% in MyTeam mode, as I just witnessed that you don't hit any shot that is not green. So I changed to RealFG% to counter this and hoped that I would hit shots on a normal rate then.


I then learned that it seems like RealFG% is bugged as hell. Every shot that was open was a "green release". And with every shot I literally mean EVERY. SHOT. I dunno how this works, as I thought RealFG% would just dismiss user shot timing. But yeah, every shot went in. I hit 10/12 from three and 78% FG% in general. What is this nonsense?

It goes based off the player's ratings. Myteam juices the ratings. Maybe that is why

What team and players are u using and what difficulty and or sliders are you playing with ? Real % means exactly just that , REAL % . The outcome of a shot going in is based on the players attributes , so if just for example ur playing with LeBron or Curry and take open uncontested shots , majority of them will be nothing but net .

I will second your statement. I have used the real % with no shot stick in MyLeague for years. I hate the shot stick and takes away from ratings, but that is me personally. I only play about 4-5 regular season games a season and all playoff games; I found the real % to play more in line with how a real players shot % would be based on their abilities in real life.

I played with RealFG% some games in offline league (where it looked like it works as intended) and then tried it out in MyTeam.


As I said, using RealFG% I had "green releases"!!!!!!! This should just not happen. Regardless of the player I used, even Shawn Bradleys (yes, even he has an inflated 3pt rating of 80 in MyTeam) hit the shot green.



I understand what RealFG% basically should be: Base the shot percentage off the rating. But then I ask you, why are there still green releases which mean 100% make?

Here’s my question about real fg% and why I stopped using it. I felt like guys just couldn’t get really hot. Sone guys may be only a 30% 3 point shooter but he can have a night where he hits 6-7 3’s and just goes off. With real percentage I felt like there just wasn’t any of those outlier games. Is that just me? How does consistency factor in ?
