SIM Scores

Is there any way to increase the scores generated when simming games? I don't have the time or patience to play all 82+playoffs so I play 1, sim 2. A lot of the simmed games end up like 89-75 or something super low. Needless to say, my players are falling behind stats wise in various categories, and in the All Star race etc.

Is there any way to boost the scoring in simmed games without having to change my slider set drastically? Would changing the player tendencies achieve the desired effect? Do the SIM ponts of emphasis make a tangible difference?

I'm usually in the 70s or 80s in game I actually play so I have now idea how to fix it. I try to run plays instead of just flying around like an idiot, but they take wayyy too long to trigger and develop in this game
