$1K? You're crazy. :-)
So this was the first year I dove into NBA2K and it wasn't until free through PS4. Even though a short time, I loved My Team. Enough so to pre-order the Mamba edition for 21. I found it easy for a newb like me to enjoy without it feeling like work and a true grind. The weekly challenges along with the player challenges I found fun. And I should state, I am not a good player. Average at best.
Anyway, your last couple of write-ups on My Team have been helpful to this newb. Thanks and I look forward to your pieces on MYTeam in 21.

One thousand dollars!!! I had no idea people spent that much on this mode. Thank you for sharing, and I wonder what the average MyTeam user spends in virtual currency. I would have previously thought $40-$50 max, but I wonder now if most people are dropping $400-$500 as an average. 2k has a great development team no doubt but if that's the kind of dough they expect their users to drop it's definitely predatory.

Spending a thousand dollars on virtual cards that you can’t carry over is the most insane thing I’ve ever heard, and is why 2K and all other sports games are littered with this nonsense. Shame.
