Tech support was right, the correct path was to uninstall the game.

This begs the question of why did they release the game before the current season was over anyway? I know they have a usual release date but there isn't anything that's "as usual" in 2020. They should have delayed the game, worked on a few things and come out when the next season actually launches. I won't be buying the game this year, most likely wasn't anyway. But I feel for those that did drop their money for NBA 2K20.5 instead of a true new game.*

How disappointing that I caved after saying I wouldn’t and bought the game today and almost a week in we can’t even download updated rosters? Makes this game basically useless or even more like 2k20 than it already was
