Can totally depend on the Franchise File. When in the player table, go to column LastName (you can search for columns on the right hand side), and if you click the column header it lets you sort alphabetically if you have Bep's most recent version of the editor. By default, players are sorted alphabetically by their PLYR_ASSETNAME column.
