Player face Change

So in my CFM i'm the Bengals. Rodney Anderson is on my roster, and has his picture in the game.

I went into Edit Player, and changed his face. Now when I look at my depth chart, instead of his actual picture showing up, it has the face I changed him to.

My intention was to just make him look different when I had to look at him in game, not take his actual picture away. Any way of changing this back, or is that a bug of some sort?

Sorry, man, it’s been in for years. And it’s permanent once you make the change. The players’ ID photos seem to be tied to their in-game faces; i.e. face “dark 4” will always lead to the same ID photo on roster screens etc.

Oh, I forgot it’s in Madden, just not in Franchise...

Yeah, that's been the case since at least M17. It certainly isn't my biggest gripe in the world, but there are times when it's certainly annoying.

However, I do appreciate that it gives us an alternative for players without headshots. I'd rather see the in-game face than just the black silhouette.
