I take last week as a sign that I can not abandon my duties or leave my post.

So, in the first week of October, here is your home for discussing all of Week 5 of the college football season.

Not feeling good about the game in Athens tonight. Reports are that Stetson Bennett will get the start at QB. I understand wanting to not go with a freshmen in a big game when there has been such a tumultuous offseason, but it's not like Bennett has a lot more game experience either. He did "save the day" last week against Arkansas, but all of his success came in the 2nd half after Georgia made some changes on the O-line. I think that Kirby pulled the plug too early on Mathis in that game, and I worry that Bennett doesn't have much of a ceiling.

JT Daniels was also medically cleared this week, but reports that I've heard didn't have any mention of him seeing the field.

I think that GA's defense should hold Auburn to under 20, but I worry about the o-line and a walk on at QB being able to put up any points.

Had to be one of the worst PI calls I've seen in a while on Hamlin in the Pitt vs NC State game. Let NC State continue the drive and tie the game up at 7.

I already knew FSU was going to have a tough game against JSU. I'm looking forward to their matchup against Notre Dame next week though.
