That RGIII trailer says it all. Until you see it in action, don't believe it.

Any Madden game is expected to have better graphics, better AI, better/more realistic gameplay, with no glitches.* What we get is often a step backwards that takes a year or two to catch up to the previous generation's overall quality.* What Madden misses most is Madden himself.* Even though the commentary may have been repetitive, Madden himself made the game fun.* As the commentary teams change from year to year, nothing matches Madden's voice.*

Re: Next-Gen Madden 21 - What Can the Previous Next-Gen Launches Tell Us?

Hopefully EA will at least get the player textures back to Madden 20 level, Madden 21 is a noticeable drop in detail. I assume this was done so that the "next gen" player models will look fresh and new. I just hope they were smart enough to get rid of the horrible bent knees stance, it looks unnatural. My guess is EA will give the new version a decent spit shine and patch the franchise mode to calm the nerves of franchise players but overall gameplay will be a carbon copy of current gen Madden 21. Until they burn that b*tch to the ground and build it back from scratch, all of the legacy issues will be alive and well. The horrible O-line/D-line interactions, the rotten CPU A.I decisions and movement by players, all of the brain dead sideline characters, etc etc. It will all still be prevalent, after all, why do you think it is a free "upgrade"???
